Brenda Patea and Alexander Zverev share a daughter together. The pair had separated in the year 2020 and after six months Patea gave birth to their daughter Mayla. She was born on the 11th of March 2021.
Brenda Patea had announced her pregnancy in October 2020. She had clearly stated that she would not share the custody of her child.
Similarly, Patea was not happy with the fact that Zverev had lied to the media about his eagerness to welcome their daughter. The tennis star had also lied that he had kept in touch with her following the pregnancy days.
She told: “I’m expecting a child from Alex,” Patea told German tabloid Bild. “We don’t have any communication with Alex right now, and frankly, I don’t plan to share custody of my child with him”
“But I will do everything to ensure that (the child grows) up in a harmonious and proper environment. I have the chance to raise my child alone.”

Before giving birth to Maya, Brenda Patea accused Zverev of lying to the social media about the baby he was expecting with her.
The German model wanted to raise her daughter as a single mother, however, she allowed Zverev to parent her daughter.
The model had clearly stated that the reason behind their split was their difference in perspective. She told: “We had crises before and then ended our relationship with Alex. Because we have different views on life. Everyone who is with an athlete must submit to these situations.”
At present, Alexander Zverev is in a relationship with Sophia Thomalla, an actress and TV presenter. He was also accused of abuse by his former girlfriend Olga Sharypova.
