Logan’s mother, Angharad Williamson, 30, and stepfather, John Cole, 40, are charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.
The 14-year-old defendant also acknowledged throwing Logan down a flight of stairs and breaking his arm just months before the kid died, according to the court. A tape of Williamson’s 911 call from January 2021 was given before jurors, in which she described the event that occurred in August 2020.
They believed he’d fallen down the stairs, but she said he was shoved down the steps, which was too much for him to manage. After that, Williamson reportedly told a police officer that she tried to snap Logan’s shoulder back into place until she heard a click.
When his shoulder dropped down, his mother rushed him to the hospital the next day. Before his death, the boy was subjected to brutal punishments at home by Williamson and Cole, according to the jury.

The stepdad, Cole, and the teenager were allegedly spotted on CCTV leaving the property in the early hours of the morning, according to the court. The stepfather has already admitted to holding Logan’s lifeless corpse in his arms during the frightening clip, according to jurors.
Before returning to a residence, the couple traveled along the riverbank path to the location where the youngster’s corpse was discovered. They were apprehended once more on their way out, this time purportedly to discard Logan’s bleeding pajama top.
Logan was found in the river wearing mismatched pajamas by authorities a short time later and transported to the hospital. Jurors became enraged when they learned of the horrific injuries he had sustained before his death.
A blunt force trauma caused 56 external injuries to the youngster’s head, face, body, arms, and legs. Logan, sadly, is said to have survived for several hours after the assault, implying that he may have been saved, according to reports.
