Ben Marten is an actor who is best known for his contributions to films such as American Virgin and Dead Awake, He is also set to be among the cast of the TV series 61st Street.
Moffat is back with a new AMC drama, 61st Street, that’s a watchable mix of intriguing ideas, a semi-vivid setting, and one narrative cliche after another borrowed from one quality TV show after another, placed one on top of another so that moral ambiguity and narrative clamor go hand in hand.
Franklin is temporarily re-energized by the case of Moses Johnson, who is played by Tosin Cole, a local high school track star on his way to a college scholarship until he becomes involved in a shady drug raid, making the dubious decision to flee, and a police officer is killed.
The discussions 61st Street intends to have revolved around genuine topics, whether they be about community policing failures or the soul-draining exhaustion of work as a public defender. It will never be dull to watch performers as talented as Vance, who portrays a slick and silver-tongued attorney.
