Born Benjamin Aaron Colonomos on September 10, 1981 to Janis Yudelson Salerno, his mother, and Mark Colonomos, his father, this great discussion leader was raised in Piermont, a village in Rockland County, New York. Ben Aaron is currently married to fellow TV personality and meteorologist Ginger Zee. A graduate of Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology, she is best known to viewers for her role as chief meteorologist for Good Morning America. Ginger Zee is also weather editor for ABC News and a regular contributor on ABC World News Tonight. She participated in season 22 of the ABC dance competition Dancing with the Stars where she finished second to her professional dance partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
Ben Aaron and his wife reportedly met at a Soulcycle charity event in 2012 where they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. Things happened relatively quickly between the two lovebirds who got engaged in August 2013 in Central Park, New York. The couple tied the knot the following year, on June 7, 2014. It was an intimate ceremony held by the beach in the state of Michigan, where the bride lives.
