John Filion was a terrific individual with a beautiful presence in public. On the other hand, John Filion was a violent man who used to attack her behind her back.
The relationship barely lasted a year, but the impact of his violence lasted a lifetime, according to Anna.
Welcome to Paradise, she believes, is an intimate depiction of a woman confronting the cause of immense sorrow and anguish and, miraculously, liberating herself from a lifetime of shame.
