Born in Akron, Ohio, Everhart started modelling at a very young age. As a teenager, she was already working, very quickly appearing on the cover of magazines like Elle and Glamour.

In 1993, she entered the world of movies and starred in her first film, “Last Action Hero” with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The action-comedy film not only helped her net worth to grow, but it also opened a lot of doors in her modelling and acting career.

In 1995, Everhart was invited to pose for Illustrated Magazine’s coveted swimsuit edition, and has appeared multiple times since then. It became one of her most popular works and she is still recognized to this day by this magazine feature.

Angie Everhart’s movies also came streaming in after “Last Action Hero”. She subsequently starred in films including “Jade”, “Tales From the Crypt Parents: Bordello of Blood”, “Mad Dog Time”, the controversial “Another 9 ½ Weeks” and “Denial”. Her constant movie projects in the ’90’s certainly boosted her career, and made her a sought-after leading lady and significantly increased her net worth.

When 2000 came, Everhart welcomed it with a nude photo shoot for the men’s magazine “Playboy”. The cover created a lot of buzz and became one of her memorable cover shoots to date. Her movie career also strengthened, and she appeared in a new series of films including “Sexual Predator”, “Bare Witness”, “Wicked Minds”, “Playback”, “Bigfoot” and “Take Me Home Tonight”.

After a break in movie making and modelling, Everhart frequented various reality shows that also helped with her income and made her a household name. Some of the shows that she appeared in include “Celebrity Mole: Yucatan”, playing the coveted role of the mole, “To Tell the Truth”, “The Ex-Wives Club” and “The Real Gilligan’s Island” during the shooting of which she damaged her hand badly enough to require surgery on her finger.

In 2012, she started working as a co-host on the podcast show “Hot ‘N’ Heavy”.

In terms of her personal life, Everhart married Ashley Hamilton in 1996, but the relationship was short-lived and the two divorced a year later. After Hamilton, she had a string of high profile relationships, including with Sylvester Stallone and Joe Pesci, but none became permanent until she married entrepreneur Carl Ferro, president of company Sunfare, in 2014. Everhart has a son who is a product of a previous relationship.

Angie’s personal interests included sky-diving at one point, but an accident needing back surgery persuaded her to give it up. In 2013 she was diagnosed with and received treatment for thyroid cancer, of which she is now clear, but associated costs apparently forced her to file for bankruptcy, prior to her second marriage of course.
