On Thursday night, Andy Meddick’s eldest daughter Kielan, an artist and transgender was assaulted on Smith Street in Melbourne.
According to police, the 25-year-old woman was spray painting over a banner when a guy approached her. Ms. Meddick was seen going away with the spray can in her hand as the man pursued her in the security camera footage released by police on Wednesday.
Ms. Meddick dashed inside the 86 Bar, where employees treated her for a three-centimeter gash on her head.
It is then claimed that she tossed the can at him while fleeing, and he flung it back.

Who Assaulted Kielan Meddick, Daughter? Is The Attacker Arrested?
The identity of Kielan’s attacker is yet to be known. There has been no report of the attacker getting arrested.
The alleged incident occurred after the Animal Justice Party MP voiced worry about threats and harassment directed against his family in connection with his support for the state government’s new pandemic legislation.
The MP said that the attack on his daughter was related to his work as an MP and the stances he made on pandemic response.
The incident occurred on Smith Street in Collingwood, a neighborhood home to Melbourne’s most prominent gay clubs. After Kielan was attacked, the crew of cabaret and drag club The 86 came to her aid.
Kielan detailed the horrifying details of the event when a guy followed her down the street and attacked her in an Instagram story.
