When authorities arrived, they discovered a deceased adult female, who later was identified as 19 years-old Amara Marluke.

Amara was shot near Southwest College Street and Southwest 6th Avenue around 1 a.m., according to police.
Marluke died of gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner, and her death was deemed a homicide.
Although he was not discovered at the scene, Keenan Harpole, 20, was later identified as the shooter.
Harpole was arrested in Bend later Monday, according to authorities.
Keenan was apprehended in the 55000 block of Homestead Way by Deschutes County deputies after he consented to turn himself in.
The shooting of students in the university has drastically risen, and most of them are related to domestic violence.
Harpole, is 20-year-old, was arrested on accusations of second-degree murder, domestic violence, and unauthorized use of a firearm.
He was a former running back for the university’s football team.
Around 1 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to reports of a shooting near Portland State University. A woman was discovered dead at the scene by police.
