According to officials, the guy who attempted to rape a lady in the Bronx over the summer was apprehended and charged in Cincinnati this week.
Amara Doumbouya, 27, struck up a discussion with the 37-year-old victim at 3 a.m. on Aug. 9 at East 163rd Street and Teller Avenue in Concourse Village, according to authorities.
The victim struggled and scratched Doumbouya on the face. The victim was brought to Lincoln Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to investigators.

Amara Doumbouya, who used to reside in the Bronx but now lives in Cincinnati, has been charged and arrested for the third time.
Doumbouya was arrested on Jan. 13, 2021, for allegedly slapping, choking, and sexually assaulting a 53-year-old female acquaintance inside his Bronx residence on Boston Road, according to authorities.
He was arrested for resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, unruly conduct, and unlawful possession of marijuana on Nov. 17, 2020, according to officers.
In his most recent arrest, however, he dragged the woman into an apartment complex, began removing her clothes, and attempted to rape her.
He was apprehended in Cincinnati on Tuesday, where he has ties and had reportedly applied for state and local identification after arriving there.
Authorities said he would be charged with attempted rape, strangulation, sex abuse, and burglary when he returned to New York on Wednesday.
Following the attack, authorities released CCTV photographs of the suspect, who was dressed in an orange T-shirt with a dark bunny pattern and the words “Lucky Charm” on it. They sought the public for assistance in identifying him.
