On 20 July 2017, Martin Hayes, a 32-year-old man from Dublin is accused of murdering his wife, Amadea Mcdermott, with whom he had two children.
Despite being a suspect, he walked free for five whole years but after this long time, Det Sgt Anthony Maloney arrested him on Monday at Cork Street in Dublin.
Following the arrest, the one accused of murdering Amadea McDermott, at Rathvale Drive, Ayrfield, Coolock, was taken to Coolock Garda station and charged at around 8 am before presenting to Judge Anthony Halpin at Dublin District Court.
