Known for playing Marnie Marie Michaels (Hannah’s BFF) in the HBO comedy series Girls, talented US actress Allison Williams is also a comedian and singer.

Allison was born Allison Howell Williams on April 13, 1988 in New Canaan, Connecticut. She is the first of two children born to formerly NBC Nightly News host and editor Brian Williams and Jane Gillan Stoddard (TV producer).
Williams attended Greenwich Academy at New Canaan Country School and Yale University, where she was a member of the improv troupe Just Add Water throughout her time. She also took part in the YouTube college music series.
