Estifano was described as a “beautiful, caring, and cheerful” girl. She was on her vacation to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Colorado.
She died an untimely death after falling from Haunted Mine Drop at 7:44 pm on Sunday. The ride drops its riders from 110 feet in just three seconds. It is believed that Wongel fell from 110 ft while it was in the operation.
Who Are Wongel Estifanos Parents? Her Father and Mother
Wongel Estifanos was born to her parents in 2015. Her mother is Rahel Estifanos while her father has been identified as “Mr. Estifanos”.
Wongel is an Ethiopian name and translates to Gospel in English.
Wongel including her family are Christian devotees and had much faith in Jesus. The full details of her family members are not made public to maintain privacy.
The Go Fund Me page was created on Wednesday by her Aunt following the incident. The initiation has collected $36,429 out of their $100,000 target.
The funds might not help their daughter to come back but it will definitely reduce the burden of funeral costs and other expenses for the family.
The extended relatives of 20 people including her mom and dad were present while the accident occurred. They were in a very distraught condition when the news of their daughter falling from such height was disclosed to them.
According to the autopsy report she died from “multiple blunt force injuries”. The manner of death is yet to be identified.
The elementary school girl died by falling from an approximately 110 ft tall ride. The officials of Caverns Adventure Park have yet to elaborate on the horrific mishap.
The amusement park shall remain closed till September 11.
Wongel Estifanos Passed Away Aged 6 years
Wongel Estifanos was the age of 6 years old when she succumbed to injuries from the fall. We believe she was more than 3ft 8 inches tall.
The riders of the Mine Drop should pass the 46 inches of height limitation to ab able to ride.
She was a student of Stetson Elementary School. The school is located in District-49. The school has expressed its grief to the family and is offering to counsel to students and staff who were affected by the incident.

The Mine Drop has been in operation since 2017. It passed the most recent inspection just three months before the incident occurred. The riders are secured by only a lap restrain and no shoulder harness to make the ride scarier.
It is yet to be investigated how the accident occurred that killed a small girl who was enjoying her vacation.

She informed that the safety belts were not fastened properly which put the riders at the risk of falling while the ride was in the operation.
Many of the people on social media platforms are curious about her eligibility for the ride and the ignorance of staff. Most of them present doubt on letting their child on the ride and question the precautions.
