Who Are Peter Neal’s Parents? Everything To Know About The American Lawyer’s Upbringing

Peter Neal, the son of two doctors, married the granddaughter of President Biden on Saturday.

This morning saw the first-ever WhiteHouse wedding for a president’s grandchild, Naomi Biden, and Neal. Naomi, 28, is the daughter of Hunter Biden and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle. The bride looked gorgeous in a full-sleeved ballgown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a layering of lace and flowers for the mock neck.

She completed the look with Tiffany & Co. diamond and pearl earrings, a sheer trailing veil, and neatly bunned hair. According to Daily Mail, her bridesmaids wore blazers over their teal dresses for the ceremony in the winter.

We are honored to welcome him into our family and are proud to see her with Peter as her spouse. “We wish them years filled with laughter and a love that deepens with each passing year,” the First Lady of the Presidency said.

Who Are Peter Neal’s Parents?

Peter Neal was born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to her mother, Mary Neal, and father, whose name is unknown.

Both of his parents are doctors in the US. He is among the four children of his family, whose eldest brother passed away in a fatal car crash in 2009. The crash, according to Dailymail, was a replication of the one that took away Joe Biden’s first wife and their one-year-old daughter.

Neal grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Jackson, Wyoming, and attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School. His eldest brother, Willie, was a ski champion who won eight Nordic skiing state championships during high school.

Willie was doing intern with Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and was planning to enroll at Middlebury College in the fall of 2009 when the incident happened. A distracted driver, unfortunately, struck him in Maine in June. It was the same year when he was training to participate in the biathlon at the Winter Olympics.

Erik Lundquist, the 18-year-old driver behind the crash, admitted that he was looking for his phone when collided with Willie. His parents were shocked to witness the prosecution not press any charges against him.

His mother, Mary, has also experienced a close call to demise. At the base of a waterfall, she was trapped under 8 to 10 feet of high current water.

Before being rescued, she claimed that she was without oxygen for a half-hour while caught up in the undercurrent.

Mary claimed that when she became conscious, she was shocked to discover that her soul was returned to her body from what she refers to as heaven.

She was less worried about drowning, having broken body parts, or not having access to medical care than she was about her return. She claimed that being underwater was serene and that Jesus Christ had embraced her.

Her life suddenly appeared before her, and she claimed that rather than receiving criticism, she was shown the beauty in her prior difficulties and errors. Mary recalled being informed that it wasn’t her time and that she still had work to complete on Earth. And that she returned to her physical form.

Peter Neal was raised by his two doctor parents in Wyoming.

Neal is a law graduate who earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania on May 16, 2022. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in political communications from George Washington University, according to his LinkedIn.

The New York Times reported that he is currently employed as an associate at Georgetown Law’s Center on National Security.

Following his graduation, he worked as an associate editor for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He completed his externships at the National Security Division of the Department of Justice and the US House General Counsel’s Office.

He has previously interned for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and later worked as a WhiteHouse intern for the Obama-Biden administration. Neal has been involved in politics for a while now. Currently, he is in the news for marrying US president Mr. Biden’s granddaughter, Naomi.

Peter Neal Is Married To His Wife, Naomi Biden

Peter Neal married his wife, Naomi Biden, in a highly anticipated WhiteHouse wedding on Saturday morning.

Naomi’s grandparents, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden, were present at the couple’s private wedding on the South Lawn. She wore a Ralph Lauren gown with Grace Kelly-inspired details as she made her way down the aisle.

People reported Naomi Biden’s mother and father both escorted her down the aisle. The bride was holding lilies of the valley, which is customary in her mother’s family.

It represents a sentimental nod to Naomi’s close relationship with her mother. Including the afternoon reception, the celebration will continue at the WhiteHouse for the wedding party and close family members.

Since presidential photographer Pete Souza married Patti Lease in the Rose Garden in 2013, their marriage was the first to take place on the grounds of the WhiteHouse. Their wedding ceremony kicked off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night, where the bride wore a “transitional look,” as mentioned by designer Danielle.

After the wedding on the South Lawn this morning, the party and family enjoyed a private lunch in the WhiteHouse’s State Dining Room (Vogue).

Close relatives will reassemble this evening at 7:30 pm to celebrate the happy couple, including cake and dancing.

Peter Neal and Naomi Biden’s Relationship Timeline

Although Peter Neal and Naomi Biden have kept the beginning of their romance a secret from the media, the WhiteHouse has revealed that Neal and Naomi met for the first time in 2018.

A mutual friend arranged for the two to go on a date, and they have been together ever since.

On June 20, Peter uploaded a photo of them together to commemorate the completion of their four-year relationship. He also included a picture of himself from a day after meeting her to compare his happiness. And there’s no denying that he appeared happiest in both of them. Neal proposed to Naomi on September 4, 2021, close to his childhood home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The band of the ring he gave Naomi was originally a piece of Neal’s grandmother’s engagement ring, giving it additional sentimental value. Naomi announced her engagement on Instagram with a selfie of herself and Neal smiling during golden hour while wearing the special ring.

Naomi and Neal live on the third floor of the WhiteHouse apartment, one floor up from the First Family.
