Orenthal James Simpson, popularly known as O.J Simpson and his nickname, “the juice” was a former running back in the NFL. He is also an actor, broadcaster and advertising spokesman.
Simpson is perhaps more famous for his involvement as a key suspect in the murder trial of his late ex-wife, Nicole Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman. He was however acquitted of the murders in a criminal court.
However, in a civil suit, he was judged guilty. And $33.5 million was then awarded against him.
In June 1967, Simpson got married to Marguerite L. Whitley. The pair had three children; Arnelle L. Simpson (b. 1968), Jason Lamar Simpson (b. 1970), and Aaren Lashone Simpson (1977–1979).
However, Aaren Lashone Simpson died when she was almost two. She accidentally fell into the family swimming pool and died due to respiratory failure.
Simpson divorced Marguerite in 1979. Then he married Nicole Brown in 1985.
The pair had two children namely; Sydney Brooke Simpson (b. 1985) and Justin Ryan Simpson (b. 1988).
Arnelle L. Simpson is the oldest daughter of Simpson. She reportedly inspired her father to write the book “If I Did It”.
Arnelle has put up several fashion shows and used to work for a raper named Hash. She has also been a caretaker for her father’s Florida estate.
Jason Simpson was known as a suspect in the Nicole murder case as said by Private Investigator William Dear. This may be due to his alcohol and drug problem.
He also showed signs of mental illness and was arrested for assault. Jason has been working as a chef in Atlanta since 2018.
Sydney Brooke Simpson attended Gulliver Academy. She then furthered her education at Boston University, where she earned a BA in sociology.
Sydney currently owns her own business named Simpsy LLC. Her brother Justin Ryan Simpson works as a real estate agent.
