He has signed a three-year entry-level contract worth $2.4 million with the Predators. He plays as a defenseman.
Previously, Luke played for the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League.
During his time in the Hitmen, he told three of his teammates about his sexuality. He was encouraged by their support.
