Louise Woodward, the notorious nanny who was convicted of killing eight-month-old Matthew Eappen, is free and living her life normally with her family in Britain.
Louise Woodward was au pair hired by Matthew Eappen’s parents to take care of him. After 10 weeks in her job, the baby died of head injury, and the prosecution accused her of killing him.
This is one of the infamous cases in Massachusetts. It was high profile case, and many things came into play; however, there was not much evidence to show the incident was murder, so the court freed her with a minimal sentence.
Brits are always innocent abroad ?

What Happened To Louise Woodward?
Lousie Woodward, who many called the killer nanny, came to the public attention after nearly two decades as Channel 4 release their new crime show that centered around Louise’s case. Many people are stunned to see the documentary and dynamics that played in the case.
Initially, when a trial of Louise started, in 1997, the jury found her guilty of second-degree murder after 26 hours of deliberation. After the jury decision, she was sentenced to a life sentence with a minimum of 15 years to be served.
However, the court was appealed again. In the second trial, Louise’s second-degree murder charge was removed and she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 days. After that, she went back to Britain.
Louise Woodward Parents
Louise Woodward’s parents are Susan Woodward and Gary Woodward. Her parents are from the United Kingdom. Louise was brought up in Britain by her parents.
Her parents were shocked, in 1997, to know about the conviction of their teenage daughter; however, they were relieved after she was later released with minimal charge. Likely, her parents did not believe the thing their daughter was accused of doing.
It can be expected that in the aftermath of the case Louise and her parents were both suffering.

Louise Woodward Age
Louise Woodward’s age is 43 years old, born in 1978. She was 19 years old when she was accused of killing Matthew Eappen. She was hired by Sunil and Deborah Eappen, both of whom were doctors.
It is also said that the baby’s parents’ negligence might have also played a crucial role in the death. In the recent interviews of an expert who gave testimony back in the 90s, he said that he would not say against Woodward now.
The expert says that with the development of technology now there is a better picture of the baby’s death, so it is possible that Louise was completely innocent. However, everything, in this case, is very controversial.
