David and Louise Turpin, parents of then 17-year-old Jordan Turpin and 12 other kids, were sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for severely torturing and abusing their children.
The names of David and Louise Turpin will forever be embedded in the world of true crime.
They were the people who gave birth to 13 children but could never become their parents. They enslaved their own kids, beat them, and even denied them the most basic human care that everyone deserves.
Back in 2018, one of the 13 kids, Jordan Turpin, managed to escape from her parents’ clutches and called 911 operators in California.
She reported her parents’ torture to her and her other twelve siblings. When the police officers tracked the location and arrived at the house, they were horrified to find the scene inside the house, as per TheCinemaholic.
The whole story is encapsulated in the new documentary titled “20/20: Escape From a House of Horror,” which shows how the officers rescued the children and detained the elderly couple for their crimes.
Now, let’s find out where David and Louise Turpin are at present.

David and Louise Turpin Ages And Kids
David and Louise Turpin were aged 57 and 50 years old respectively at the time of their arrests.
The couple had thirteen kids during their marriage. They had ten daughters and three sons from 1988 to 2015.
According to David’s parents, the duo kept having children because they believed it was God’s call. His wife, Louise came from a religious family. She was a daughter of a pastor after all.
Their kids’ age ranged from just two years old to 29 years old when the police rescued them from their parents’ enslavement.
The children were malnourished, neglected, and unkempt. Some of them had not bathed for months. Then, there were some kids who were chained to the bed or furniture.
Jordan claimed her father even pulled her pants down and attempted to kiss her at just age 12.
David and Louise Turpin are some of the most heartless and vile people to walk the Earth. 13 kids kept in cages, starved, emotionally and physically abused, kept away from basic needs and education, etc. Sick and disgusting. #ABC2020
