Unfortunately, Dell Curry’s family is facing a problem that has gone public. Dell is still married to his wife, Sonya Adams, but court proceedings are moving forward with their separation.

He and his wife did announce that they were divorcing after 33 years of marriage on August 23, 2021. However, the split is unclear, and the court official says the divorce is still ongoing.

Sonya filed for divorce from her husband back on June 14 in North Carolina and had put in the paperwork.

Curry and Sonya met at Virginia Tech and are college sweethearts married in 1988. The once romantic and lovely couple has become bitter and miserable from each other’s behavior. 

Their marriage is on the verge, and there is no going back. Even though they are separating, they are still supported by their children Stephen, Seth, and Sydel. 

Dell Curry Affair Rumors Accusation

Dell Curry has accused her wife, Sonya Curry, of cheating on him with a former NFL player Steven Johnson, a Virginia Tech athlete in the mid-’80s.

But it has also been reported that their separation is tied to accusations of cheating coming from both sides. Both parties blame each other for their infidelity as the cause of their split after 33 years of marriage. 

Dell claimed that Sonya has been living with Steven in Tennessee. Sonya then responded that she has been living alone and not with Steven as Dell did not allow her to live at home. 

She admitted to dating Steven, but the relationship began after the couple legally separated in March 2020. 

She also accused Dell of frequent infidelity throughout their marriage and forgave him repeatedly.

Furthermore, the accusations are false to mask his wrongdoings for damaging their relationship.
