Since 1980, Coach K has been the head coach at Duke University, where he has guided 12 final fours, 13 ACC regular-season titles, and the Blue Devils to five national championships. Lindy went to Pepperdine University to get a master’s degree in clinical psychology. She’s also the Dean of Girls and Psychology at the Durham Academy.

Mike’s youngest daughter Jamie Spatola, aged around 25-30, earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University in 2004. Jamie also holds a Cameron University MBA & Duke University master’s degree in Liberal Studies. She & Mike have co-authored two books. The Gold Standard and Beyond Basketball, to date.

Debbie Savarino and her husband Peter have four children, Joey, Carly, Michael, and Emmie. 

Michael, Debbie’s son, is a basketball player for Duke. Debbie has a great professional job in addition to being Peter’s wife and mother of his children.

She is a Duke faculty member who serves as an assistant director. In 2002, she joined the Duke team as the lead money raiser for The K Lab, Duke’s sports performance research center. Debbie was appointed Assistant Director of the Legacy Fund & Men’s Basketball External Relations Director in 2004.
