Charles James and Annelore James are an American couple, on whose property Akiel Chambers was discovered in the bottom of a pool in wealthy Haleland Park, Maraval.
Akiel Chambers, then 11 years old, was driven off by his aunt to join Carrie James’ birthday celebration at her parents’ Charles and Annelore James’ residence in Balata Terrace, Haleland Park, Maraval.

Although it appears that vengeance for Akiel and his household will never be served, responsibility for the reasons behind this is still conceivable.

Charles James and Annelore James case update and Trevor Craigwell
Charles James testified that he was not attempting to implicate anyone, particularly his wife Annelore James, in the killing of Akiel Chambers, but that someone knew stuff and was not saying anything in the court.
James, 58, a merchant from 23 Balata Terrace, was testifying before Chief Magistrate Sherman McNicolls in the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Eighth Court.
Chambers’ buddy Trevor Craigwell sobbed and his voice broke, as he recalled the situation surrounding Akiel’s abduction and death in the court.
Despite his statement to the police on May 23, 1998, he argued that he and Mrs Annelore James were not friends.
