Rodney Moore was named “Boxer of the Decade” in 1998 and was crowned “King of the Blue Horizon” for fighting 21 times at the legendary The Blue Horizon boxing hall.
The boxer was inducted into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004.
Moore was also honored by the Philadelphia City Council in 2004 for his boxing accomplishments as well as his work with Philadelphia’s youth.
