Born on April 16, 2002 in the United States, Whitney is not Eminem’s biological daughter, contrary to what most people might think or even believe.
She is the daughter of the rap legend’s ex-wife, Kim, whom he had for another man after the two men divorced in 2001.
Whitney’s biological father is a man known as Eric Hartter. The girl, however, hasn’t spent much time with him as he hasn’t been the one without a troubling past. The man who is a tattoo artist by profession was at odds with the law.
Eric was allegedly involved in different criminal activities, including drugs, for which he ended up behind bars. However, he was not married to his mother, Kimberly Scot.
Kim on the other side did not leave any problems in her life as she was also involved in drugs. This led her to seek treatment at different times. It’s one of the things that made Eminem adopt Whitney as his own daughter.
In 2006, Eminem and Kim remarried only to separate that same year. In 2015, Kim was involved in a car accident in what was a drunk driving case. According to his lawyer, it was in fact a suicide attempt.
Speaking to DetroitMojo’s Channel 995 radio show, Kim also admitted the crash was intentional and she didn’t expect it to be successful. She also remarked that at the time, she had been clean for 10 years.

Eminem adopted Aliana and Whitney almost at the same time to join his biological daughter, Hailey, who he had with Kim before they even got married. She was born on Christmas Day 1995.
According to Eminem’s first manager, the rapper put a lot of effort into his job after the birth of his daughter, Hailey. He was said to put in up to 60 hours a week because he didn’t want his daughter to grow up the way he did. He wanted her to live better and not just day by day and move every week.
That makes a lot of sense considering the importance the rapper places on his daughters in his music and how he’s always been protective of them.
What makes it even more impressive is the fact that his ex-wife, Kim, admitted in an interview that Eminem is a great father to his daughters.
