The 24-year-old football quarterback, Stetson Bennett, has been spotted rocking a flip phone that has caused more than one eyebrow to raise in question.
Bennett bought the phone in the summer to help him focus more on what mattered to him. Although he is sporting around a flip phone which has helped him to focus more on his studies and the game itself, he is not ruling out smartphones from his life in general.
He may go back to using it later in the future.
However, at the moment, Bennett is looking forward to wiping out Alabama in the National Championship on Monday.
Why Did Stetson Bennett Get A Flip Phone -Was He Distracted By Smartphone?
Stetson Bennett switched to a flip phone after he worried he was wasting too much of his valuable time doing nothing but scrolling through feeds on his old smartphone.
In a recent candid interview, he confessed that after he spent more than an hour on his phone, he could hardly remember what he spent those hours on.
He felt he was not doing anything important and realized he needed to focus on time management with schools and games taking much of his time.
For most of us, it’s hard to imagine carrying around a flip phone in today’s age of technology, where smartphones have found a way to nestle in our hearts and our minds.
However, Stetson Bennett says he did it for himself to focus on important things after he found out he was being distracted away from them with his old phone.
Stetson Bennett Instagram And Girlfriend
Stetson Bennett is on Instagram under the username @stetsonbennettiv. He is currently engaged in a romantic relationship with Cameron Liss.
According to various sites, the couple has been together for more than three years. Before they broke it off, he was pursuing a relationship with Mary Courtney Puryear.
The reason behind their separation is not yet clear.
In February of 2021, after he posted a picture with his girlfriend, he was called out for cheating on Cameron Liss. The couple has yet to respond to the rumors. We can now take that as a false statement being passed around that holds no credibility.
Which Phone Does Stetson Bennett Use?
Currently, Stetson Bennett rocks a phone only old people still carry around, a flip phone, which he confessed has helped him manage his time wisely.
With his new phone, he can still get calls and text people. The phone was made for this purpose in the beginning. The only thing that remains a hassle with his new tech device is that he is unable to store notes on his phone.
He now needs to carry around a separate notebook along with a writing utensil to write down important notes. He has a laptop and a tablet for sending out emails and doing other essential things, which he cannot perform with the help of his flip phone.
