What happened to Tracy Grimshaw?

Ms. Tracy Grimshaw said that she tore her knee cartilage four months ago. The presenter did not follow up with rehabilitation after her operation to fix the damage.

‘The knee didn’t improve much (duh),’ she said, ‘and one day it gave out as I stepped up an embankment at home, and I fell and shattered my foot.’

‘Except I didn’t want the foot to break, and I reasoned that it couldn’t because I could still walk on it.’ So I wandered around aimlessly for three weeks before getting an X-ray.’

Ms. Grimshaw added that a 30-year-old injury in her other knee makes it difficult for her to move around on crutches.

‘Because my other knee doesn’t like the crutch-hop, the only way I can actually get off this foot is to – well – get off my feet.’

She promised to go to physiotherapy and expressed gratitude to Today host Karl Stefanovic for covering her shifts on the news program.

The seasoned host resides on a farm on the outskirts of Sydney. Fans raced to the Instagram post’s comments section to wish her a speedy recovery.
