“This Is Us” fans were shocked and emotionally drained at the same time after the release of a new episode from season 6 on May 10.
Spoilers are ahead for those who have not watched the latest episode of This Is Us season 6. The NBC American family drama couldn’t hit any more complicated on the fans who were already emotional after Miguel died in the show.
Where Is Miguel On This Is Us?
This Is Us fans who just watched the last released episode knows properly where Miguel is and what has happened in the family drama series. The role is portrayed by the talented actor Jon Huertas. Unfortunately, as the show is coming to an end on May 24, things went more sideways than expected by the viewers.
Along with showing the present storyline to the fans, the writers finally provided their fans with some backstory of Miguel. Although fans have had mixed feelings about Miguel’s character throughout the last six seasons, by the end of Tuesday night, everyone was on Team Miguel.

He married Rebecca after her husband, and best friend Jack of Miguel died in season 2. However, he has been a caring husband to her and has kept her above any other priorities.
But unfortunately, we will not see him anymore in the show as he has passed away and his family is grieving his death. Moreover, his fans got shattered to know that.

Miguel died on This Is Us, and it happened within some time. The character who used to always be around his wife Rebecca is no more. Unfortunately, she was also not in good health condition.

He used to take proper care of her and prioritize her over himself. This resulted in his high blood pressure, shortness of breath, and other health problems. The character also inherited heart issues.
Thus after draining himself out by taking proper care of his wife, he and his wife were taken care of by the caretaker. But unfortunately, he failed to make it to the end.
Miguel On This Is Us Death Has Shocked Its Fans- They Were Shocked To See Him Gone
Miguel’s death in This Is Us is the first major death of the season finale. With just a few episodes left for the completion of the series, fans knew it was coming but not this certainly.

The show was emotionally nerve-wracking as the writers of the series connected the whole of Miguel’s story from the beginning by showing the apple tree. The show reminded us of how he had planted an apple tree for his wife, Rebecca. And throughout the whole series, we see it grow, transform, and endure.
In the end, his wife, along with others, sits in front of the same tree in black funeral attire and his kid’s from his earlier partners spread his ashes.
