Netflix’s true-crime documentary Girl in the Picture depicts the true-crime of Franklin Delano Floyd, who kidnapped a young boy named Michael Anthony Hughes in1994.

Where Is Michael Anthony Hughes Now?
With the release of the latest true crime documentary on Netflix, Girl in the Picture, the public is curious to know where Michael Anthony Hughes is now and what happened to the Girl in the Picture.
Michael Anthony Hughes was six years old when he was kidnapped from his school. He attended Indian Meridian Elementary School in Oklahoma, living with his foster parents.
One day on September 12, 1994, Franklin Floyd claimed to be his father and kidnapped young Michael with the elementary school principal at gunpoint.
Floyd took the principal of the school, James, and the young child in the car and drove away from the school. He then went to the woods, handcuffed James to a tree, and ran away with Michael.
Later he was arrested for the murder of another person; he did not reveal his whereabouts of Michael to the officials. There is no clue about the young boy being alive or dead to this date.
He did mention that the young boy was safe and sound where he was but never revealed the location of young Michael.
Suzanne Sevakis and Husband Franklin Delano Floyd Son Today
Franklin claimed that Michael Anthony Hughes was the son of Suzanne Sevakis and Franklin himself, which shocked people since he claimed that Suzanne Sevakis, the Girl in the Picture, was his daughter.
The 32-year-old Floyd claimed that Suzanne was his daughter in Oklahoma when he went by the name Trenton B Davis in 1975. After moving a lot with various different aliases, Suzanne gave birth to Michael on March 21, 1988.
Franklin then claimed that the young boy was his child and that he was married to Suzanne, which came as a surprise to everyone. In 1990, Suzanne died in a mysterious hit-and-run accident making Franklin the prime suspect.
But there was no evidence, so he was not arrested, but he left Michael in foster care and skipped town. Six months later, it was found that Michael was not Floyd’s biological child and got him parental custody denied.
Later in 1994, he kidnapped Michael from his school when Michael was only six years old, but because of his mental condition, he was mentally a lot younger than his age.
There was no information on the young boy’s state of life until a new revelation was made. According to a reddit post, the killer confessed to his crime while on the death row after 20 years.
Franklin later confessed that he had killed the young boy in 1994 after he kidnapped him in contrast to what he had been saying all his life about giving him to another person to raise him safe and sound.
