Below Deck Mediterranean is back, and the crew appears to be venturing into uncharted territory.
The chaotic trailer revealed that this was a new domain for Captain Sandy Yawn, who announced that the yachties were headed to Malta. Raygan Tyler, who has replaced Malia White as the latest Bosun, was also introduced in the trailer.
The American TV personality confirmed in May that she would not be returning to the Below Deck franchise, despite having established herself as a well-known cast member.
Malia first appeared on the spin-off series as deck crew in season two before being promoted to Bosun in the fifth. After fans speculated about her return to season seven, she announced her departure during an appearance on Brandi Glanville’s Unfiltered podcast.
“I took a year off,” White explained before revealing her reason for leaving was a bad scooter accident.

Who Is Malia White Boyfriend Jake Baker?
Malia White is now in a relationship with Jake Baker. In Season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Jake is the main engineer.
The reality TV star also confirmed that they were still together at the end of September and that they had been dating since August.
White had been “open” to a romance developing during season six, but she was not interested in pursuing anything after her breakup with Tom. But everything changed the moment White kissed Jake for the first time.
Baker works as a marine engineer for Superyachts, which explains why he got hired to work on the Lady Michelle while White was on board.
The engineer is originally from Whakatane in New Zealand. Just like White, he is currently residing in Barcelona, Spain.
Jake has been posting pictures of the happy couple loving each other, identifying himself as “Jake from State Farm.” He spends the majority of his time on a yacht.

What Is Malia White Doing Now?
Malia White went on to work as a bosun on other superyachts after finishing filming Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 last year. She first appeared on the Bravo series as a green deckhand in season 2 in 2017.
The reality TV star worked alongside deckhands Bobby Giancola, Max Hagley, and bosun Wes Walton. Aside from honing her deckhand skills, White developed feelings for Bosun and chef Adam Glick.
After appearing in Season 2 of Below Deck Med, she left the show and returned for Season 5 as a bosun. Viewers turned against her after she revealed that chief stew Hannah Ferrier had unregistered Valium and a vape pen in her cabin.
Ferrier was fired and never returned to yachting, but White returned for season 6 as the Bosun, seemingly hoping to redeem herself. While some viewers began to like White this season, others were still haunted by what happened last year.
The reality TV is back to her regular job as a bosun now that Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 has concluded. Unfortunately, Malia will always be remembered as a reality star.
