Malandra Burrows recently opened up about her breast cancer. She opened up about the moment when a nurse told her she had stage 3 breast cancer.
She was diagnosed in February after a month of finding a lump on her breast. Burrows mentioned that she will have to go through chemotherapy for the next six months now.
Followingly, the actress said that consultants have suggested she should bring someone in the further treatment. However, she feels like doing it alone as she is single and doesn’t want to do it with her friends.

After her own experience, Burrows wants to encourage other women to get checked up before it’s too late. When she first went for the check-up, she was told that the lump was a cyst.
