Where Is Joe Exotic’s Ex-Husband Dillon Passage Now?

Last year, Passage was introduced to the public when he participated in the smash Netflix docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness. He was one of the young men who had married Joe Exotic and wedded him just before Exotic was sentenced to prison.

In December of 2017, Passage married Joe Maldonado-Passage (a.k.a. Joe Exotic). The pair separated in March, with Passage publicly announcing the breakup on Instagram.

“This wasn’t an easy decision to make but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn’t fair to either of us,” he wrote. “It’s something that neither of us were expecting but we are going to take it day by day. We are on good terms still and I hope it can stay that way. I will continue to have Joe in my life and do my best to support him while he undergoes further legal battles to better his situation.”

Maldonado-Passage, 58, is currently serving a 22-year sentence for bribing a guy $3,000 to kill big cat conservationist Carole Baskin, whose dispute was portrayed in Netflix’s 2020 documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness.

The couple had been dating for just over two years when Joe was arrested in January 2020. Joe’s first husband, Travis Maldonado, died in October 2017 from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound, as recounted in Tiger King season 1.

Joe then began dating Dillon, a 22-year-old Austin, Texas native. Joe told The Lost Ogle that he “could not ask for a more amazing lady to land in my life” after they married in December 2017.
