James Pierson Murder & Boyfriend Rob Cuccio Update
In the immediate aftermath of James Pierson’s murder, Cheryl and Robert, along with Sean, were taken into custody. During the course of her trial, the former relationship that Cheryl had with her father was brought up as a defense strategy.
According to the prosecution’s case, Cheryl’s father, James Pierson, had sexually exploited her for the final two years of his life. Her legal team said that she had told Sean about the abuse she got from James and talked about the possibility of killing him because she thought that was the only way to stop the pain.
In addition to this, Cheryl had been keeping a second secret from everyone: the fact that she was pregnant but had not yet given birth. Because Cheryl was almost certain that the child would be her father’s, she decided to terminate the pregnancy and have an abortion. On the other hand, Rob was the biological father of the child.
Robert and Cheryl persisted in their relationship and ultimately tied the knot in spite of the many challenges they faced. They have raised two daughters, Samantha and Casey, both of whom have grown up to be successful individuals in their own right.
Cheryl Pierson Story On The Cheerleader And The Hitman
When Cheryl Pierson, then 16 years old, brought up a recent murder-for-hire plot during homeroom at her high school in Selden, New York, in 1986, no one took her seriously when she made the statement.
She was curious as to whether or not any of her classmates would ever kill someone for money, and Sean Pica, a junior who is also in her class, said that he would do it for $1,000.
Not even three months later, on February 5, 1986, as Pierson was getting ready for school, she took her dog outside and discovered her father lying face-down in the snow and bleeding in their driveway. The incident occurred not even three months after the initial incident.
After Pica offered to be a hit man, Cheryl told him her darkest secret. They then talked about the possibility that Cheryl’s father would be killed.
