Laurie Hernandez currently reside in Manhattan, New York.
The American artistic gymnast Lauren Hernandez was born to Puerto Rican parents Wanda Hernandez and Anthony Hernandez.
As a junior, Hernandez competed in the 2012 U.S. Classic where she placed 11th before qualifying to the National Championships.
Hernandez was selected in September 2013, to represent the U.S. at the Junior Japan International in Yokohama where she scored 56.750 to win the bronze medal in the all-around.
After making her senior debut at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Jesolo, Italy in 2016, Hernandez also participated in the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships in Everett, Washington, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil the same year.
Hernandez to elite gymnastics in February 2021 at the 2021 Winter Cup, where she competed in two events.
Besides gymnastics, Hernandez has also appeared on several television shows including Stuck in the Middle (2016 – 2018), Dancing with the Stars (Since 2005), and American Ninja Warrior Junior (2018 – 2021).
