Shantaram TV series will be available on Apple TV exclusive from October 14, 2022. Charlie Hunnam, Antonia Desplat, Alexander Siddig, and Shubham Saraf feature in the movie Shantaram, which is based on the same name-brand novel.
It is an adaptation of Gregory David Roberts’ best-selling book. In the drama series, a fugitive in 1980s Bombay seeks forgiveness and would stop at nothing to get it, even if it means allowing his past to resurface in the present.
Apple TV+’s Shantaram is probably going to be your favorite new program of the autumn if you appreciate seeing excellent actors in exotic locations, covered in cosmetic perspiration, and discussing second chances in borderline-comical accents.

Shantaram Reviews And Cast Details
This show is definitely not something you want to binge-watch because there are only 12 episodes, each lasting approximately an hour. A leisurely, episode-by-episode, scene-by-scene approach will allow you to completely appreciate Shantaram’s amazing message.
Obviously, the messengers are equally as smart. Hunnam has never been better, moving behind his legendary Sons of Anarchy history to explore a guy of boundless decency and dire circumstances who is only beginning to realize who he really is. Hunnam’s real-life antithesis in the film is Khader Khan, a philosophizing criminal boss played by Alexander Siddig.
Every time the two of them are in a scene together, you find yourself hanging on every word they say because of their chemistry and complex student-guru connection. The star of the show and Lin’s first buddy in Bombay, Prabhu, is played with charm by Shubham Saraf. As Virgil is to Dante, Prabhu is to Lin, pointing him to the correct road even as Lin stubbornly persists in taking the incorrect one.
In Shantaram, Bombay takes on a life of its own as a place populated with exiles who are all either fleeing away from or moving toward something. It’s crucial to keep in mind that Gregory David Roberts, who wrote the book on which the television series is based, drew on his personal experiences to create the plot.
