Several arrests were made concerning the case, whereas the victim’s parents are now trying to make people aware of these crimes so that any other child would not have to endure the same suffering.

A teenage girl disappeared while attending a Dallas Mavericks game in early April this year. She is safe with her family now, but she had to endure a horrifying ordeal before being sent back to her family.
She was at the American Airlines Center before she went missing. Later, police found out that she was being trafficked. Even experts claimed that 15 years old is the average age at which girls in the United States are trafficked.
The girl from North Richland Hills went to the bathroom alone and never returned to her seat that day. Later, a video showed her leaving the place with an older male. Police in Dallas believe she left on her own volition, but she was stranded 200 kilometers away.
A few days later, the Oklahoma City police found Kenneth Levan Nelson, a registered s*x offender prost***ting the 15-year-old through internet ads. He allegedly purchased hotel rooms using someone else’s ID and advertised the teenager in “different stages of undress.”
Two women were allegedly involved, according to police. Karen Gonzales purportedly shot the images, and Sarah Hayes admitted to being present when they were taken.
Thus, Kenneth and Sarah were arrested in the case and charged with human trafficking. On August 15, they will have preliminary hearing conferences. Hayes is being held on a $250,000 bond, while Nelson is being held on a $300,000 bond.
But five other people have been detained, but their relation to the incident is unclear.

Kyle and Brooke Morris found their daughter ten days after she went missing. Thanks to the Oklahoma Police, who rescued her from human traffickers, and to the Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative, who was able to locate the girl through the internet ad.

After over a month of the incident, her parents, Kyle and Brooke, have appeared in public to speak out on raising awareness about human trafficking. During an interview with ESPN, they said they wanted to make everyone understand it with the hope that it would never happen to anyone anywhere else.
Their daughter has been recovering well these days, and after several days of finding her, she told he mother that she had met many other girls in Oklahoma and wondered how long they had been in that kind of life, but no one looked for them.
Her name has not been revealed in public because she is a minor, but she has given permission to her parents to openly talk about the case in public, as per their lawyer.
