In the midst of trade rumors on Friday, Courtland Sutton, a veteran wide receiver with the Denver Broncos, put out a strange tweet.
According to NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry, the Broncos were “quietly shopping” Sutton on Monday.
The team, he continued, is “not actively pushing him, but definitely trying to see if there’s a trade market for him and would move him if they got a good offer.”
Last month, Lindsay Jones of The Ringer stated that Sutton’s name had “been buzzing around a little bit” in trade circles on The Athletic Football Podcast (h/t Nick Kendell of Fan Nation’s Mile High Huddle).
When did Sutton join the Broncos?
He joined Broncos on April 2018.
What round is Courtland Sutton going in?
He can be found anywhere from the late fourth round all the way down to the sixth round, depending on the platform, though he was in the second round (40th overall) in the 2018 draft.
