Internet cleaning mania Mrs. Hinch has spoken up about her scars from excess skin removal surgery. Sophie Hinchliffe, known online for her immaculate displays and neat tables, shed 50kg after undergoing gastric band surgery at 21.
The young mother’s $10,700 procedure altered her physique but left her with loose skin, a common consequence of extreme weight loss.
Nine years later, Hinchliffe, now 32 years old, posted a photo of the scar her excess skin removal operation left on her arm on Instagram.
She discusses learning to embrace her body in her post, which has a photo of her wearing an off-the-shoulder floral dress with sleeves that fall over her arms.
What’s Wrong With Mrs. Hinch?
Hinchliffe experienced health issues following a gastric band procedure that resulted in her shedding eight stones. She was prescribed antidepressants for anxiety prompted by popularity and Internet troll bullying.
Although her life appears idyllic online, Mrs. Hinch, 32, confessed that she had a gastric band inserted for £6,000 due to weight insecurity. However, the procedure put her in excruciating pain and required emergency surgery.
The social media sensation, who has more than 3.6 MILLION followers, uploaded a shot of herself in her car while wearing a floral Missguided outfit that cost £18 and displayed her arms, and admitted that she liked the off-shoulder style because it hides her surgery scars.
Recently, Mrs. Hinch uploaded a photo of her severely bruised legs and then opened up about her struggle with a blood clotting condition. She revealed a video of shocking-looking purple bruises on her thighs.
Why Do Mrs. Hinch Has Scars On Her Arms? Her Weight Loss Surgery Explored
Hinch has previously discussed how she gained weight as a teenager and needed to take out a loan at age 21 to pay for a gastric band that cost £6,000. Sophie shed eight stones while the band fit properly, but she gained extra flesh on her arms, which made going clothes shopping a misery and hurt.
Sophie saw her doctor in 2016 because she suspected she had an infected armpit, but the doctor informed her that the excess skin must remove as soon as possible.
The doctor informed her that she had an inside infection on her left arm during her follow-up appointment, even though the procedure went well. “The size of her arms blew up to three times their size,” Hinch remarked. I spent two weeks in the hospital worrying about losing my arms.
Even though she acknowledged that she occasionally feels uneasy about the scars, the actress found the courage to wear a strapless dress to her wedding and baby Ronnie’s baby shower.
Get To Know About Mrs. Hinch’s Blood Disorder
Mrs. Hinch is more prone to blood clots due to a genetic disease called Protein S deficiency and Factor V Leiden.
Recently, she uploaded a photo of her severely bruised legs and then opened up about her struggle with a blood clotting condition. She posted a video of her thighs covered in purple bruises and claimed that they are the reason she rarely wears short dresses in the summer.
She quickly assured them that she was well but disclosed that she had a blood clotting problem called thrombotic thrombocytopenia.
Sophie has previously discussed the problem and written in her book Hinch Yourself Happy about how a blood clot in her leg led her to cancel her 2018 honeymoon.
