Recently, Edwards confirmed that his future at Ten is in doubt, admitting he doesn’t think he will be presenting BBC News for long.

Huw Edwards is blessed to his wife and life partner, Vicky Flind.

Edwards’s wife Vick Flind, formerly worked for the BBC where she was the long-standing editor of the BBC’s The Week politics show.

Later, she left her BBC role in 2016 and switched her work on ITV’s show Peston which was set up to rival BBC’s Andrew Marr Show.

The couple got hitched at Blaengarw’s Tabernacle Chapel in 1960. Since then, they have been flawless and adorable.

Mr. Edwards and his wife reside together in Dulwich, London and share five children together named Dan, Amos, Hannah, Rebecca and Sammy.

When it comes to parenthood, he said that he had been stricter with his elder children than the younger ones. 

Huw Edwards Illness And Health Update: Is He Sick?

Huw Edwards is not sick and his health update is pretty good.

However, in 2020, he was very ill for a couple of weeks, making things hard for him. Talking about Edwards’ illness he gets very breathless if he runs up a flight of stairs.

He’d had testicular cancer before when he was in his thirties and he’d survived. 

Mr Edwards said that his job had been “very tedious” for him recently. With his aging, we can assume his job must be very hectic.

Is Huw Edwards Retiring?

Huw Edwards is not retiring soon but considering his working patterns of the future.

Edwards told Dewi Llwyd’s program on Sunday that he won’t disappear tomorrow from the 10 o’clock news because he is still enjoying it, but he is considering his future as presenter of the News.

Just ahead of his 60th birthday, he made this revelation in a special interview for Radio Cymru.

Edwards said: “But I don’t think I’ll be doing that for long. Because I believe that, in the first place, I think it’s fair for the viewers to get a change.

He continued: “Secondly, I have co-workers who are very talented – it’s time to give them a chance too.” Also, he added it was an appropriate time to think about his future.

Is He Gay? Everything On His Sexuality

Huw Edawars is not gay. Family and close friends of Huw Edwards say that there is no fact of what people are saying concerning his sexuality or sexual orientation.

There are no reports claiming him of being gay as his circles deny any rumor that he would be homosexual.
