Jak Knight, a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who rose to prominence as a voice actor and writer on the Netflix animated comedy “Big Mouth,” died on Thursday in Los Angeles. He was 28.
In a statement issued on Saturday, his family confirmed his death. The news of Jak Knight’s death comes many months after the end of the legendary actor and comedian Louie Anderson on January 21.
He was brought to the hospital a few days after his cancer diagnosis; however, he did not survive his condition.
Mr. Knight had just finished filming “First Time Female Director,” a comedy written and directed by comic Chelsea Peretti, in which he appeared among many other comedians.
He had been featured in the Peacock series “Bust Down” alongside fellow comedians Chris Redd, Sam Jay, and Langston Kerman.
Ever since March, a comedy about a group of pals working at an Indiana casino that he also helped conceive.
