Matt’s Health Condition
Matt Goss has frankly been vocal about his rare health condition known as Poland Syndrome. The medical condition affects patients by birth with underdeveloped or missing muscles, on one side of the body.
Matt Goss has one pectoral muscle on the right instead of two; the lower one is missing, but the upper one is fine and strong. However, the missing part sometimes affects his health.
He has revealed that he used to pose for the frontman of Bros covering that missing side of his chest. At the present time, he has been talking freely to the public about important matter to him.
He was facing many problems with his dressup and many other factors because of this condition which now he is speaking up about. He said that he had to maintain the size of his cloaths on the right size so that it gets tight on the right where the part is missing and it counter balances the left side of his body. Slim tailoring is good for him and his looks. It helps him determine his fashion by his chest shape.
Early Career
Goss started building his career as a lead singer in the English pop band, Bros. As a lead vocalist, his popularity in the music industry flourished very fast. His very first album went platinum four times and has earned eight top-five hits. This album called Push remained on the U.K. charts for 54 weeks. “When will I be famous?” and “I owe you nothing” is the greatest hit songs by Bros of all time.
After the Bros band split in 1992, he launched himself as a solo singer at the beginning of 1995s. Since then he has released twenty-three solo songs by last year. Four of them have reached the top forty hits. Goss has worked with Paul Oakenfold on the “Firefly” which raked no. 1 on the World Trance chart. “I m coming with ya” reached number 22 in 2003s.
There is also a movie made about him and his twin brother called Bros. The film was released in 2018 and was also nominated for BAFTA and won an award.
Recently Goss released his fifth studio album called “The beautiful unknown” on March 25th, 2022. Initially, he was planning to release the album in the November of 2021, but it was postponed to march.
In 2022 Goss was participating in the 20th series of Strictly come dancing, partnering with pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova. This is the stage where he opened up about his health condition.
Goss did very well in his performances, He won a majority of votes from the studio expert judge till the 3rd week of the show. They got eliminated in the fourth week on 16th of the October, 2022 against Kym Marsh and her partner, Graziano di Prima.
