According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium (Twitter link), projected lottery picks Amen and Ausar Thompson, identical twin brothers who played for the City Reapers of the Overtime Elite league, have declared for the 2023 NBA draft.
They have a lot in common, such as outstanding athleticism, great frames, and exceptional defense, but they also differ in several ways.
Prior to the June draft, Amen is presently placed No. 4 on ESPN’s big board, with Ausar, who was born one minute after Amen, ranking right behind him at No. 5.
Amen is seen as a lead guard by ESPN’s Jonathan Givony because of his excellent passing and ball-handling, but Ausar is more of a wing because of his strength, speed, and shooting ability.
What rank is Ausar Thompson?
Just behind him at No. 5, Ausar, who was born one minute after Amen, is ranked.
