Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to Borat, continues to chronicle the antics of Kazakhstan’s second-ranking independent journalist Borat Sagdiyev as he tries to present his 15-year-old daughter Tutar to the Vice President of the United States.
Nevertheless, while claiming to be from Kazakhstan, neither character is able to communicate in Kazakh.
The 2006 film, Borat 2, is full of contentious and unscripted sequences, and most of the humor and laughs are based on how others respond (or don’t respond) to the absurd and disgusting conduct Borat demonstrates in front of them.
Cohen’s character, a parody of the dumb, uneducated foreigners who are stereotyped to come to the United States, speaks in bad English and uses a language that most Americans wouldn’t know, even though it has nothing to do with Borat’s nation of origin.
Cohen adopted the stereotype despite being a natural English speaker (he was born in England).
