Having tested positive for the coronavirus, Lorraine Kelly has announced that she will not be appearing on her own chat show.
On ITV throughout the weekday mornings, the Scottish presenter hosts the current events program. She will, however, take a temporary break from the program as she recovers from her sickness.
The absence of Lorraine Kelly from her mid-morning broadcast this morning may have confused viewers. Instead, presenter Carol Vorderman greeted viewers of the program.

A national treasure, Lorraine Kelly has been hosting her wildly popular morning program for the past 11 years. She has contributed material to the ITV shows Lorraine, Good Morning Britain, GMTV, and the Scottish broadcaster This Morning.
Even the hosts of Good Morning Britain made light of their surprise at finding her substitute in the studios at five in the morning. She will not be able to host the show for the foreseeable future because she will be at home. There is no current timeline for when Lorraine will resume presenting.
In the 2012 New Year Honours, Kelly received the designation of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her charitable contributions.
