Elfyn Evans began his professional career in 2007 in the Ford Fiesta Sporting Trophy, driving a Group N production-car-class Ford Fiesta. He also competed in the Rally GB in Wales that year.
During his second season with Toyota, Evans won two more World Rally Championship events in Portugal and Finland and finished second in five others.
