Randy Rainbow’s films have gained a lot of attention since the publication of “Randy Rainbow is Dating Mel Gibson,” and several prominent websites have featured them, including renowned LGBT blogs like Towleroad and Queerty.

In addition, Perez Hilton highlighted Lindsay Lohan’s role in the Rainbow video. Further demonstrating his growing influence, Rainbow made guest appearances at events including Tituss and the Tightass Band, a benefit concert for The Trevor Project held at New World Stages in 2010.

He also gave a performance at the Laurie Beechman Theatre’s third annual Living for Today fundraiser and even made the cover of the magazine Out Front Colorado.

Rainbow is real and has released several CDs through Broadway Records. In August 2012, he released three singles: “Born This Gay,” a parody of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” “An Old-Fashioned Wedding,” and an original Chick-fil-A jingle that he created while working there.

To the delight of his fans, Rainbow released the holiday EP Hey Gurl, It’s Christmas on November 8. The EP’s title track was an original song produced just for it, and the studio version of the well-known song “Trump’s Favorite Things” was included in this jovial anthology.
