Jimmie Allen, a Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum country music artist, made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May 2021 to promote his newest book for kids, “My Voice Is a Trumpet.”
As Allen talked about his recent wedding and raved about his new baby daughter, pictures of him with his wife and children flashed across the screen.
“When you see things happening that shouldn’t, stand up for it,” Allen said on the chat program as he discussed the ideas that led to his book.
It’s crucial to start teaching kids while they are young, he said. “In this manner, they develop into adults who retain that same confidence to stand up for both themselves and others.”
