Avatar is often referred as “bitmoji” which is basically the cartoon version of yourself. It uses the animated stickers. The stickers are very lively and expressive.
Along the revolution of social media, bitmoji avatar has been recently used. These bitmojis are mostly popular in the camera based social media “Snapchat.” Besides it was also used before in a social netoworking site named “mig33” which later transformed into “migme.”
However, Facebook has recently launched avatar feature as well. So How can you create bitmoji avatar in facebook? Follow these easy and effective guidelines and make you own avatar. Remember, this feature may not be available yet in your country. It was initially made available in the US only. But eventually, you will get the update in your country as well.
Step 1: Open facebook app and tap the three horizontal lines which consists of options in the right of your screen.
You will see three horizontal lines once you open facebook app. In case of apple Iphone, it is seen on bottom right corner. However, these lines are seen on top right corner in android phones.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap “See More” option.
As you click 3 horizontal lines, you will find different options. You should scroll down until you see one with “See More” and tap it.
Step 3: Tap on the “Avatar” option.
Afterwards, you will see an “Avatar” option commonly in the second row. Tap the “Avatar” option and it will display a group of cartoon bitmojis.
Step 4: Tap on “Next” and Get started.
Once you tap avatar, you will see “Next” option before the group of bitmojis. After you tap that, you will find “Get Started” option. Tap it as well.
Step 5: Select the skin tone you want.
As of now, you will see variety of skin tones displayed in bitmojis. Tap on the one you like and do “Next.”
Step 6: Customizing your avatar
Now, it’s more of a creative customization. You can eye hair style, color, eye color, eyebrows, beard , nose shape, outfit, body shape and son on. Once you are done click on Checmark. You can also look yourself while creating avatar. For thatm you simply click on the camera action on the right side.
Step 7: Finalizing your avatar
Once you tap the checkmar (tick) at the top right corner, you will see your avatar ready. Tap “Next” and then tap “Done.” Now your avatar is finalised and can be used in comments as stickers.
