Is Baphomet a Satan?
Baphomet is a supernatural being, or also considered as a God. It is considered to be sacred which The Knights Templar used to worship.
The term Baphomet is associated with an image of a Sabbatic Goat since 1856, drawn by a French author, Eliphas Levi. The image was drawn in such a way that it represented the symbols of symmetry of opposites. For instance, the image contains half-human and half-animal, male and female, the good and the evil, and so on.
The group following the Baphomet describe themselves as Satanists. They describe the Satanic figure as the identity of one’s inherent nature, which represents the eternal rebel.
