Is All Saints’ Day The Same As All Souls’ Day?

All Saints’ Day and As All Souls’ Day are holy days Christians celebrate. They are different days and occasions.

In the 10th century, Abbot Odela of the Cluny monastery designated the next day, November 2nd, as “All Souls” Day to honor martyrs and all Christians who had perished.
