The Strictly star Amy Dowden was rushed to the hospital due to Crohn’s disease, an illness that causes inflammation of your digestive tract. Later, it slowly leads to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition.
Amy was supposed to take part in a group dance last weekend. However, she was absent from the show due to a medical emergency and also explained her absence, with pictures from the hospital bed.
Her fans felt relieved after seeing some of the sweet images of her recovering at the Fletcher house. In the meantime, she didn’t forget to thank her well-wishers for their concerns and love.
Following this, Dowden also thanked Dragon Den’s star Sara Davies and Tom Fletcher for taking care of her while her partner is working away from home.
The dancer has temporarily moved with Tom and Giovanna Fletcher. While the Fletchers are taking care of the dancer, their kids wrote her a “Get well soon” card.
Furthermore, Dowden also explained how they made sure she had everything she needed during her stay at the hospital. She is getting all the love and care from the whole Fletchers family.
