John Berman is a popular news anchor. He is currently employed with CNN and is the co-host of New Day with Brianna Keilar on the channel.
Berman is also the regular relief presenter of Anderson Cooper 360°. He replaced Chris Cuomo following his departure in 2018, to present Cuomo Prime Time.
The CNN anchor just ran in the Boston Marathon, which took place on the 18th of April. He was apparently admitted to the hospital.
John Berman Ends Up In A Hospital After Boston Marathon
John Berman was admitted to the hospital after the Boston Marathon. He was running as part of the Team Beans Fund.
According to their Twitter bio, the fund raises awareness of childhood cancer. It would help create a legacy for Francesca “Beans” Kaczynski, CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski’s daughter, who died at nine months old on Christmas Eve in 2020.
Berman had confirmed that he was admitted to a hospital following a post on his Twitter handle.
The report had tweeted that he had a great 25-mile. According to him, “I took a bit of a detour to the medical tent … and then the hospital. I don’t exactly remember what happened … but I am doing MUCH better now.”
The good news is that Team Beans Fund has raised over $535,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Infant Brain Tumor Program.
John Berman’s Health Update Today- What Happened To Him?
John Berman is still in the hospital following his participation in the Boston Marathon. He had suffered a heatstroke caused due to overheating of the body.
As per new updates, the news anchor is doing better. However, the Massachusetts-based medical facility, where he was admitted decided to keep him for one more day.
Berman had made yet another tweeting about his additional day in a hospital bed. He said: “I love Boston so much, I decided to stay at least 1 night longer!.. I am feeling so much better. They say they want to keep an eye on me for one more day. I really think it’s just because I’m so charming.”
Berman also stated that he was “honored” to be a part of the Team Beans Fund.
John Berman’s Wife And Family Were Worried For Him
John Berman is married to his wife Kerry Voss and has two children. His family members were extremely worried after Berman’s hospital admission.
However, Berman, himself has stated that there is not much to worry about his health.
