Todd Gurley, an American football running back, was once an MVP candidate, but now he is a free agent. He was a star player, but things started to go south after he had a knee injury, which brought subsequent consequences.
Todd Gurley played college football and was a star rusher at Georgia. Over there, he earned All-SEC honors in 2012 and 2013. Todd is from Maryland. He was born in 1994 and ages 27 years old.
Todd was inclined toward sports from a young age, so he was a star player in all three sports, football, basketball, and tracking his high school. He did his high school in North Carolina. He has won numerous accolades in his school and helped the school win numerous championships.
Todd was drafted by St.louis rams in 2015. Although he missed the first three weeks due to torn ACL, he rushed 1,106 yards in his rookie season.
What Happened To Todd Gurley?
Todd Gurley’s downfall is one of the rare kinds in NFL history. Just a couple of years back, he was starting for the Rams, but now, it looks it is hard for him to find a room in the league. Everything came rushing down to the star player.
At the ending years of college football, he stored his ACL while playing against Auburn. After that, he joined the Rams, and in his rookie year, he presented a magnificent performance, so he was considered an offensive rookie and made to the pro bowl.
Everything was going great to Gurley; he gave his best performance in 2017 with 17 touchdowns and rushed 1305 yards. However, in 2018 and 2019, his knee injury started to bring him down, and his performance started to dwindle.
In 2019, he also had arthritis in his injured knee, and the Rams released him in just two years out of four years contract. After that, he has also played for Atlanta Falcons but was not called back after one year contract. The things are not seen in favor of Gurley now.
I am convinced that 6 more big starting RBs could go down with injury, and Todd Gurley still wouldn’t be signed to a team.

How sad.

I hope he gets at least one more chance at SOME POINT. Cruel what the body can do to a man.
